Teaching is having the understanding of the importance of education for children, having compassion, and having the passion to pass knowledge to children to help them grow and improve skills.
Teaching is understanding that the future lies in the hands of today's children. Being able to get across information to better themselves and everyone around them is the job of a true teacher. Working hard and having a internal force driving you to be better are strong characteristics of teaching
Teaching to me is providing the children of today with the knowledge necessary and important for them to live healthy and fulfilling lives. Teaching is not just about students learning subjects in school but developing social skills and relationships with their peers as well as building character and helping develop good personalities so the future people of the world will be better then they are now today. skills of how to survive in the real world like basic math and reading are of course important too
Teaching is the process of conveying knowledge to people and different ways to go about learning. It is not just one set way of having people learn and it is not about forcing people to follow one set way but instead it is about preparing for the future.
Teaching, more than anything is about creating experiences. Through these experiences students gain understanding of the key process and ideas that lead to knowledge. This does not simply mean just content knowledge either, but includes learning processes, social values, engaged citizenship, and the skills needed for them to have a successful future not just in a job but as a functional and productive member of society. The way we do that is by creating experiences, whether it's through lecture, or technology or god knows what, the point is we have to make our students experience the world around us and understand how this fits into their greater lives.
Teaching is doing everything in your power to help students to learn new things and gain knowledge and skills. It is also helping students use what they already know and apply it to many different things in and out of the classroom. Teaching also is using everything you have at your disposal to help students have a better experience and to improve what they are getting out of the class. Teaching is also a job that helps to prepare students for what they will have to do or what they will encounter once they are done with their education in the school systems. Teaching is a great responsibility that requires lots of time and effort to do.
Teaching I believe is educating everyone around you. Whether it is from helping a child tying shoes to creating a work out log. Teaching is the guidance of development in any person that wants to be taught. Teaching is about wanting to help in the community and outside of it. Passion, dedication, and patience are just some characteristics of teaching. Teaching goes beyond the call of duty.
Teaching to me involves numerous complex process that involve opening a student’s mind to new information, motivating students to go beyond their own expectations for themselves and allowing students to voice their own opinions and concerns. Teaching is not simply “giving” students new knowledge that they had not known before or even preparing students for the future. While yes teaching does those two things it also sets students up to challenge their own and others thoughts and aids students towards gaining confidence in themselves. I feel that through teaching in an effective manner students are able to gain much more than just knowledge from classroom experiences. It is these experiences along with knowledge that students will take with them throughout their future.
Teaching to me is being able to create connections between the material you teach and your students. You need to be able to connect with your students, it is the best way that they learn. If you make the material relate to them, then they are more likely learn that material for you. The best teachers I had are the teachers that I was able to connect with on a personal and social level. They are the same teachers that when I go back to my old high school they the first ones I try to go see. Teaching is something that you have to have a passion for, because if the kids see that you aren't into what you are doing; then why would they get excited about it?
Teaching signifies having the capacity to instruct students in various ways utilizing many strategies and resources, such as text books, technology, other teachers etc and applying it into their lesson. Teaching is spontaneous and unpredictable, but should also be thought out when it comes to abiding by lesson plans. Teachers should be knowledgeable and engage students in every aspect of their teaching in order to create a productive learning environment.
To me teaching is sharing information that you have learned to other people or students. It could be things that you have learned while in school or just working different jobs. I also feel that in order to be a good teacher you have to make connections with your students and try and figure out ways you can relate to them and make what you are teaching them more interesting.
Teaching to me is acting as a guide to the student. Helping them discover and learn without impacting their judgement. I want students to form their own oppinions based on facts, not on my oppinion. I believe that teachers should allow students to come to their own conclusions by providing them with the most accurate information.
